Back in 2018 December, Mika singh had gone to Dubai, UAE for a performance. While fans were looking forward to Mika’s event, shocking news emerged a day before before the event that Mika had been arrested by the Abu Dhabhi police on account of sending indecent pictures to a Brazilian model. Now in a recent interview with Lallantop, Mika has denied any wrong doing during that time and claimed that he was falsely trapped.

When Saurabh Dwivedi asked Mika about the incident, here is what the singer said. The conversation is stated below.

“Mika Singh : – Someone had planned this. They knew that Mika Singh is coming on this date and time. Police suddenly came and took me to the police station from. Saurabh Dwivedi : – You were arrested from Burj Dubai Bar at 3 a.m. Mika : – Yes, they took me straight to Abu Dhabi. They asked me about the matter. And the good thing about them was that they listened to me, recorded it and I said that I have a show in the evening. This is my passport. I will conclude the show and will return immediately. So thanks to Dubai and Abu Dhabhi that they listened to me and allowed me to perform at the event. May be if this would have happened in any other country, the police may not have heeded to my requests. So I submitted them the passport and did my show and returned back to Abu Dhabi.”

It was a money matter : Mika Singh on Dubai Arrest Case

When the incident happened, the only news that emerged was that Mika Singh was arrested for sending indecent pictures. However, only recently, Mika Singh told in depth what the actual matter was. Here is what the conversation happened between Mika Singh and Saurabh Dwivedi.

“Mika Singh : – I returned to the police station at Abu Dhabhi after conducting the show and told them that it was a money matter. That if I pay them Rs 20 crores then the case will get over immediately. Saurabh Dwivedi : – To Whom? Mika Singh : – Whoever. I won’t take the name. If I refuse to pay then I would go straight to jail. Saurabh Dwivedi : – Was it a honey trap according to you Sir? Was someone trying to trap you? Mika : – “Yes. There were many people.” Saurabh Dwivedi : – Did you responded to those texts? Mika : – I didn’t. Saurabh Dwivedi : – Did you send messages to someone? Mika : – No. Not at all. Saurabh Dwivedi : – Then on what basis police arrested you? Mika : – Police will come even if you tell them that Mika Singh had done something here.

The incident garnered lots of attention in 2018 when Mika Singh got arrested as it was alleged that the young model who complained was only 17 year old. The Indian Ambassador to UAE at that time Mr. Navdeep Singh Suri intervened and sorted the matter for the singer after which he got released.
