In what could be viewed as shocking, it has been found that 83 cities of India are there in 100 most polluted cities of the world.

Major urban centers like Delhi, Kanpur, and Varanasi are choking under hazardous air quality, with AQI levels frequently crossing the “severe” category. Toxic smog blankets cities, causing respiratory illnesses, school closures, and travel disruptions. Industrial emissions, vehicular pollution, and rampant construction dust exacerbate the crisis.
