When you start becoming popular, you tend to go higher in life. But Oxygen is always less at higher places. Sonu Sood on why he Doesn’t Aspire Politics currently

The actor while speaking to Karishma Mehta, hinted on why he doesn’t have that strong inclination to join politics despite being offered big posts like CM and Deputy CM.

“Someone told me, so many big offers are coming to you like CM and Deputy CM. You are not accepting such offers. Do you know how so many big actors in your industry cannot even think of getting such posts in politics. To them, I say that people come in politics for two reasons. One is money and the other is power. I have craze for none of those. If I want to help, that I am already doing. If I join politics, someone from the higher ups may instruct me to not help in certain scenarios. In that case, I would be able to do nothing. Presently, I don’t have to answer anyone If I want to help. Doesn’t matter what caste, religion or language people, I don’t ask such things and provide help. This may not be possible if I join Politics. So I fear that thing.”

There are plenty of social media posts on Reddit and Quora where people have advocated for Sonu Sood to enter Politics.
